The Raiders are Coming… The 62nd reunion of the Doolittle Raiders runs April 14-18 in Tucson. The Raiders were an elite all volunteer squad during World War II who were responsible for an attack on Tokyo just months after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. Their story has been told in countless

Tucson Suburb Named ‘Most Playful Town’… Oro Valley, a few miles north of Tucson, is named in Nickelodeon magazine’s April issue as one of the ’10 Most Playful Towns in America’. The magazine considered things like high-performing schools, safe neighborhoods, extensive library programs, and
access to the arts in making their final list. “We were looking for communities with heart and soul,” said Wendy Smolen, Nickelodeon’s deputy editor. “People want to say ‘I love where I live,’ the people in Oro Valley, that’s what they said.”
