Come to the 2009 Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally in Utah
This is the 10th annual Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally, Southern Utah’s premier hot air balloon event. This event is held in Panguitch, UT which is a designated National Historic District. This event will be held Friday, June 26 through Sunday June 28. Thirty five hot air balloons will be launching each morning at 6:30 a.m. Spectators are welcome to join in the fun by crewing, or helping pilots to inflate and launch their hot air balloons.
There will be a parade Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. on Main Street. There will be a Poker Walk, inflatable rides, dunking booth, Balloon Rally Bingo, Karaoke Contest (with special children’s category 12 and under) children’s crafts and activities. Saturday night is the highlight of the event-the Balloon Glow. We shut down part of Main and Center Streets and the pilots inflate their balloons- they even do synchronized propane burning- we have live entertainment on Saturday night starting at 7:00 p.m. It’s a great time to walk up and down the street, listen to the music, visit the shops and vendors and just have a wonderful time!! This is a very family friendly event and once a person comes to the Glow they always return.
