The Baltimore Buzz Mobile Brings An Icy Summerbration To Philadelphia

The Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association (BACVA) is hitting the streets of Philadelphia to encourage summer travel to Baltimore. Just a tank of gas away, Baltimore provides a fun-filled weekend escape with its renowned Maryland seafood, the picturesque Inner Harbor, world-class museums, exciting sports teams and more.

The Baltimore Buzz Mobile arrives in Philadelphia next week to provide residents with a refreshing summertime treat of free icy-cold, flavored snowballs along with the perfect reason to visit Baltimore, exclusive Summerbration coupon books offering $150 in city-wide savings.

The Baltimore Buzz Mobile will be hard to miss, decorated in the city’s new logo colors and “Get In On It” tagline. Bringing a popular Baltimore tradition to the city of “Brotherly Love,” the delicious snowball flavors include Port Red (egg custard), Starboard Green (spearmint) and City Blue (skylite).

On Thursday, August 3rd from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Friday, August 4th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm the Baltimore Buzz Mobile will provide free snowballs at locations throughout Philadelphia including:

• Gold Star Park Movie Night

• Society Hill

• Rittenhouse Square

• 30th Street Station

• Independence Visitors Center

• The Pennsylvania Convention Center

Along with an icy treat, visitors to the Baltimore Buzz Mobile will receive Baltimore’s Summerbration coupon book, offering more than $150 in exclusive savings for travelers including discounts on Amtrak travel, weekend getaways, popular attractions, restaurants and more. The Summerbration website, www.baltimoresummer.com, also includes a comprehensive special events calendar and information on planning a visit to Baltimore. Nearly 40 attractions and activities are featured in the coupon book and Summerbration offers are valid through April 30, 2007.
