New Hampshire Ski resorts Offer a Wide Array of Women’s Activities and Specials
TORONTO – Girlfriend getaways or mother and daughter escapes can be just as much fun in the winter than any other time of the year. New Hampshire ski resorts have designed many ski programs from women only classes under the leadership of women instructors to ski resorts offering special discounts and deals. What better way to have some fun, enjoy the fresh air than a day on the slopes.

Programs specifically designed for women at Ski NH areas include the following:
Black Mountain, Jackson
-Girls’ Day Out – Tuesdays are a pampered day on the slopes for women. Ladies ski or ride all day for $20 and receive a coupon package to area businesses, lunch is available for $5. There are also ski clinics & nursery discounts for skiing/riding Moms.
Bretton Woods, Bretton Woods
-Mother’s Day Tuesdays – On non-holiday Tuesdays, receive a lift ticket and all-day Hobbit Ski or Snowboard Program for one child for $115. Add a group lesson for $10
Cannon, Franconia Notch
-Women’s Ski Program – Two hour sessions are held every Saturday and Sunday. Saturday programs emphasize improving skiing and riding with intermediate instruction in the morning and advanced instruction in the afternoon. The Sunday session features a different topic every week. The cost is $40 per session.
Cranmore, North Conway
-Ski with the Girls – Ski with other women concentrating on refining skills, building confidence, and enjoying the mountain in all conditions. Group meets from 10am-12:30pm on non-holiday Sundays or from 11am-1:30pm on non-holiday Wednesdays. Enjoy a five week session for $150.
Gunstock, Gilford
-WOW- Women’s Only Wednesday’s is a six-week program designed for women of all abilities, and includes two hours of lessons and one hour of free ski/ride time. Cost is $45 per session or $225 for all 6 weeks.
-Women’s Weekends – On the first Saturday of each month, clinics include a morning coaching session, demo equipment, complimentary use of the NASTAR course, discounts at Mountainside Outfitters and more. The cost is $150 ($90 for passholders) for a single day or $360 ($250 for passholders) for all three sessions.
Loon Mountain, Lincoln
-Women’s Breakthrough – This program is held every Sunday through March 7, 2010. The program is ideal for women who are ready to break through to more difficult terrain in a relaxed atmosphere. Clinic starts at 8:45am; cost is $85 and $150 for the two-day session.
Mount Sunapee, Newbury
-Ladies Day Tuesday – Available on non-holiday Tuesdays, ladies receive a lift ticket, luncheon buffet and half-price childcare for $49.
-Tuesday Tune-up – Workshops are offered on Tuesdays from 10am-noon. Expert instructors help refine your technique for $30 per session.
Ragged Mountain, Danbury
-Ladies Day – Lift tickets on non-holiday Mondays are only $29 for women.
Wildcat Mountain, Pinkham Notch
-Ladies Thursdays – Women save $20 on their lift ticket, get a free lunch and 10am lesson, and save 10% on the nursery on non-holiday Thursdays.
