African American Heritage Bus Tour in Richmond, Virginia – Saturday, February 7th, 1-4pm

Offered only twice annually! Examine the African American experience during key points in Richmond's history, including the Civil War, Reconstruction and the Jim Crow era, and honor the impact of Richmonders such as Arthur Ashe and Douglas Wilder. Includes a trip through historic Jackson Ward, frequently referred to as "The Black Wall Street of America," and a visit to the Maggie Walker Historic Site.

$23 ($20 for members and children 6-18; children under 6 are free). Includes admission to the History Center on the day of the tour and parking during the tour. Meet your guide at 1015 E. Clay Street. Bus is not wheelchair accessible.
