Spoons to Spectacles: Silver in Delaware Life (February 16-May 17): This exhibition at the Delaware History Museum provides a unique opportunity for the Historical Society of Delaware to interpret its impressive collection of silver from several angles–as an occupation for skilled smiths; the characteristics that make it so useful and desirable in our culture; its role as a status symbol; and who, where, and why people owned it.
Nineteenth Century African-American History (library exhibition, opens February 25): The topic for the Speakers Bureau Talk is "A Pictorial History of Wilmington."
