Bea Broda’s Travel App, “Europe Travel Videos” Now Available for Download

“Europe Travel Videos,” is one of the first video apps that is a general synopsis of Europe’s most iconic cities and landmarks – historical riches, local favorites, museums, campsites and cultural highlights. The app, a downloadable guide for iPhones, iPod Touches or iPads, as well as Android devices, was filmed, written and edited by Canadian broadcast journalist Bea Broda. Bea is known as the host of travel TV series such as “Timeless Places” and “Passport to Adventure,” as well as being the publisher of the travel website, www.travelvideo.tv

Each entry features a picture, a map, a brief description, links to tourism info websites and Facebook pages, but the main focus of the app is on the travel videos themselves.

There are some 160 videos within the app that includes the countries of Europe as well as some that neighbor, such as Turkey, Greece, Egypt, Israel and Denmark. Maps show users how to get to their destination by car.

The Android version, also $2.99, is also available.

This app will always be a work in progress, with updates and new entries being added. Buy the app once and all subsequent upgrades are free.

The “Europe Travel Videos” app was produced by Sutro Media, a San Francisco-based company that is working with writers and photographers to create worldwide guides of photos and useful travel information, downloadable onto computers and/or mobile devices.
