Heads We Cast a Line…..Tails We Take In the Spa
When a locale noted for its love of lures casts its first line in this spring season, the silvery fish under the surface won’t be the only offerings causing a stir at April Point Resort. Nestled on Quadra Island just off the east coast of Vancouver Island and three hours north of Victoria, April Point will open a new spa to coincide with its fishing season on May 6.
And just in time to soothe those luring-weary limbs after a long day on the water. Featuring an Aveda Spa of west coast/Japanese design, relaxation begins with eight treatment rooms and two couples (or friends) suites complete with an aroma hydrotherapy tub, light-mood therapy and an aromatherapy steam shower utilizing custom blends. A 1,000 square-foot deck will also be featured for outdoor treatments. Utilizing an Elemental Nature approach (based on the five elements found in nature: infinity, air, fire, water and earth), guests will indulge in a sensory experience that utilizes very little equipment and stimulates the senses through touch.
Each visit to April Point Resort and Spa will begin with a consultation to personally customize all aromas and treatments, making every visit unique. The spa will service both in and out-of-house guests of April Point Resort and Painter’s Lodge, which is located on mainland Vancouver Island in Campbell River, directly across from April Point. Both properties, owned and operated by the Oak Bay Marine Group, are connected by a complimentary 10 minute water shuttle. The line has been cast.  Â
