Stewart Island – an Untouched Wilderness
As off-the-beaten track as it comes – Stewart Island, third largest island of New Zealand, is off-the-beaten track and often overlooked. But this is a place you don’t want to miss. The Maori call Stewart Island “Rakiura”, which means “Island of the glowing sky”. Despite being more than twice the landmass of Singapore, Stewart Island is home to only 450 people.

Private Charters off Stewart Island
Rakiura Charters offers a new two-day package exploring the remote New Zealand paradise of Paterson Inlet, Stewart Island. The ‘Explore Paradise’ experience includes a full-day exclusive boat charter in the inlet’s spectacular bays, as well as fishing for the famed Stewart Island blue cod for dinner. After a day on the water, guests stay at a historic B&B, overlooking the water. The following day, there’s a gourmet lunch on a secluded beach before a guided tour of the internationally recognized open bird sanctuary, Ulva Island.
