A company is now offering skydiving in Iran.

Iranian sport aficionados have a new activity to add to their list–skydiving.

PA Aviation, located 50 kilometers north of Tehran, said it is proud to introduce "this thrilling and exciting new sport in Iran."

According to PA Aviation, due to Islamic regulations, Muslim women were not permitted to jump with a male tandem master. The company said: "By having female tandem instructors aboard our team, PA Aviation can uniquely empower Muslim women to feel the thrill and exhilaration of the skydiving experience.

"This I am sure most will agree, has been long overdue for Muslim women and will be an important and widely publicized women’s sporting activity in the Middle East.

The company, which utilizes a brand new Britten-Norman Islander as its jump aircraft, also said it is extending its "warm welcome to instructors and skydivers, men and women, around the world."
