In most of the Metros/Important Urban Centers of India, the majority of the youth had been running towards western civilization and so many Night Clubs/ Night Discos by the permission of Indian States had been opening in different parts of India for the entertainment of today’s youth.
Generally these Night Clubs either exclusive or situated on resorts, had been provided with the facilities of not only food but listening & enjoying of DJs, played by some eminent personalities of the country.
The Chimney Heights Resorts, situated about 12 kilo meters from Chandigarh, spread in the total area of 15 acres on Zirakpur-Patiala Road, had been looking like a fabulous independent city, having 12 acre built up area, consisting of 2 lawns of 1500 to 1800 individuals capacity, 2 spacious banquet Halls of 6500 Sq.Ft.Area , 2 bars, 10 rooms( for the use of guests hiring the resort on contract basis for marriages etc.) and big Disco Floor, where on all Saturdays, DJ and other instruments had been played by very renowned artists . The Resort site had been utilized for private parties on the occasion of Birth Days, Cock-Tail & tea parties, Ladies Sangeet on the eve of marriages and Fashion Shows organized by the Corporate Houses
Our representative Mr.M.M.Khanna had the experience of visiting this resort on a Saturday to see the popularity of the resort and its attraction for Chandigarh Youth. Mr. Khanna explained his visit that this resort had been of great attraction for Newly-Wedded Couples, Service Couples, Male and Female Students of Local Institutions and Domestic & foreign Disco Lovers. On Saturdays, crowds of such categories of Disco Lovers gathered on this resort at about 8 pm, enjoyed the Indian/ Mughlai/ Continental Food with their co-partners and strolled in the different parts of the resort, gathered at the Disco Floor, where the DJ by Akbar Sami Night, 3 times war of DJ’s winner, played on their musical instruments , which began at about 11.30 p.m onward, when apart from the above categories of guests, even the married women having 1 or 2 children found involved in dancing.
The Managing Director of the resort, Mr.Karan Wahi told Mr.Khanna that with the blessings of Mr. Rajdeep Singh Virk, the owner of the resort site, the resort had been doing very well . He told that Rs.500/ had been charged per couple for their entry in to Disco, whereas the entry for children & single male had not been permitted. Dancing moments in the Disco had been the best experience, when in dim lighting arrangements, DJ, showed its charm on the highest pitch of its volume to make every participant to dance by forgetting the night timings, which was marching ahead, described by Mr. Khanna. The youth was enjoying Dancing at the Disco Floor with hard/soft drinks, which used to be source of providing them strength & energy for their wonderful performances with their partners. The event was continuing up to 4 a .m and becoming memorable, described by Mr.M.M.Khanna. Mr. Khanna appreciated the resort’s Security and Parking arrangements.
