Dubai Tourism Opens its “Smart” Suggestions Scheme to Public

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has enlarged the scope of its suggestions scheme, SMART, thereby allowing the general public along with its employees to submit suggestions online and track their status.

A dedicated website www.dubaitourism.ae/smart  has been created to help the staff and the public put across their ideas and proposals to the department as part of its initiatives to improve and broaden its services.

The website also provides information in English and Arabic languages about the scheme, its processes, usage and benefits.

The SMART initiative was launched in 2001 is meant to boost the quality and standard of client services and instill commitment and confidence among its employees.

It will encourage people to put forward their suggestions to develop effective systems and procedures to improve the overall performance of the organization.
