2010/11 Hurtigruten Brochure Now Available Through GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel & Tours With Selection of Norway, Greenland and Antarctic Itineraries

TORONTO – Hurtigruten (formerly Norwegian Coastal Voyage), represented in Canada by GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel & Tours, has released its new 2010/11 brochure which features many engaging and fascinating itineraries that offer travellers a chance to explore some of the world’s last remaining frontiers and natural wonders. The 92-page brochure highlights expeditions to such far flung places as Antarctica, Greenland, Iceland, Norway and the Arctic.

“The brochure provides all the information agents need to effectively sell the cruise voyages to their clients – ship details, a complete itinerary, booking conditions and fees,” said Patrick Tsung, President of GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel and Tours. “One of the great things is the options available in terms of trip length making it more accessible to travellers who can either take a longer or shorter cruise duration.”

The new brochure provides many interesting itineraries from a 14-day In the Wake of the Viking cruise in Greenland, a 10-day special Norwegian Fjords to an especially timely 11-day Climate Pilgrimage to Norway and Spitsbergen in May 2010.

There is also a new 10-day Antarctic Discovery expedition that is only $5,730 CAD per person based on double occupancy. It must be booked by December 31, 2009. It’s ideal for those who want to explore Antarctica but don’t have the time for longer voyages. There are two sailings – January 2, 2011 and January 11, 2011. Fly from Buenos Aires to the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia and embark on the MS Fram. Start your voyage through the Drake Passage and the Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands before reaching the “White Continent” – Antarctica.

This unforgettable voyage will take you through the continent’s famed highlights – Deception Island where an abandoned whaling station resides; Half Moon Island and Yankee Harbour filled with thousands of penguins and seals; and Lemaire Channel – home to humpback and killer whales and other wildlife. Enjoy the adventure but in the comfort of a modern cruise ship with all the amenities and highly trained ship personnel.

Agents will find the sailing schedule and pricing listed at the back of the brochure very easy to follow and use when dealing with clients. The booking of an FIT or group cruise is made simple with GLP Worldwide Expedition’s Canadian staff and reservations team.
