Complimentary Cruise and Travel Lifestyles Magazine for Canadians sets sail

Travel is booming and every year Canadians have many more options when it comes to planning a vacation, whether it’s a cruise or an all-inclusive resort. Which is wonderful - but can be a little overwhelming when it comes to making a decision.

To the rescue:  Canada’s newest travel magazine, Cruise and Travel Lifestyles.   Full of tips, insider information, ship profiles and resort reviews, Cruise and Travel Lifestyles will also feature interviews with key players in the industry.  Some 75 per cent of the content will be cruise-related, with the balance focusing on vacations ashore. The magazine is a re-birth of Cruise Lifestyles magazine.

The woman at the helm of the publication, Vanessa Lee, is a legend in the travel industry and known across Canada for her passion for the business.  Lee also is an unabashed fan of cruising, and has some 75 cruises logged in her passport.  “We hear again and again that Canada is ready for such a publication,” she says. ” We have superb international content, with a Canadian twist.”

Best of all,  subscriptions to Cruise and Travel Lifestyles will be complimentary.  It will be distributed through blue-chip travel agencies across the country, or readers can subscribe online at www.cruiseandtravellifestyles.com.  The magazine will appear twice in 2007:  at the end of March and in September, with greater frequency planned for 2008.

To coincide with the magazine’s inaugural issue, Lee has revamped its website.  The site will not only reprise articles in its sister print publication,  but offer added content including links to cruise lines, tourist boards, and airlines as well as resorts, tour operators and hotels. A complimentary optional Club Member area will detail travel specials and promotional offers.  Ultimately, the web site will include contests and surveys as well as consumer postings on their own travel experiences.   Links to the blue-chip partner travel agencies will also be available.

“It’s a big world out there.” says Lee,  ”And we are looking forward to helping our readers with all kinds of information they can really use when planning their next vacation.”
