Bollywood Captured by Galle
The Asian premier of Ketan Mehta's latest film Rang Rasiya (Colours of Passion) was screened in Galle last Saturday to a packed house at the Halle de Galle. A fundraiser for the Galle Film Festival 2009, the movie drew both locals and foreigners to Galle for the screening of an outstanding movie.

Message from Sri Lanka Tourism : Life in Colombo normal
A terrorist light aircraft carried out an attack on a power plant, in Colombo just after midnight and in a military camp in Mannar, in the north of the country. The attacks were successfully averted and no major damage has been caused.

UN appeals for protection of civilians following suicide attack in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka December Tourist Arrivals up 55.8 percent, year ends on a promising note
