WTO, Qatar celebrate World Tourism Day

Qatar made history Tuesday when it became the first Middle East country to host the World Tourism Organization (WTO)’s World Tourism Day celebration. WTO secretary-general Francisco Frangialli and Qatar Airways executive Akbar Al Baker addressed the well-attended celebration held at the ballroom of the luxurious and brand new Four Seasons Resort.

State Of Qatar First Middle East Country to Host World Tourism Day 2005

The State of Qatar will proudly host this year’s World Tourism Day on the 27th of September. Celebrations will include Qatar’s first National Tourism Conference and a series of accompanying events, announced Qatar Tourism Authority.
