Bahrain to Host Fourth Race of 2013 Formula One Grand Prix Season

MANAMA, Bahrain – The International Automobile Federation (FIA) announced Bahrain will host the fourth round of the 2013 Formula One Grand Prix on April 21, 2013. After a successful race in 2012, the FIA secured Bahrain as a stop on the 2013 tour amongst nearly two-dozen nations including, the United States, Canada, Germany and Great Britain.

Bab Al Bahrain Suq to Become Tourist-Only Area

Discussions could begin soon on a proposal to turn the Bab Al Bahrain suq into a tourist-only area. It could be done by removing shops that are not ‘tourist friendly’, according to Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) board member and small and medium enterprises committee chairman Khalaf Hejair.
