RAIL JAMS SLIDE INTO THE KOOTENAYS

Skiers and boarders will be able to strut their stuff when the RCR Rail Jam makes a stop at Fernie and Kimberley Alpine Resorts in January. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis with only 60 spaces available at each event.  The jam format will have 2-3 judges the will narrow the field down to the top 15 participants.  The finals will consist of 2 runs each, with judging done by the other participants.  In the end, the athlete with the highest number of votes wins.  There are no categories for gender, age or sport!

“This is a spectacular event complete with visual acrobatics, music and the best mountain scenery,” says Matt Mosteller Senior Director of Business Development with Resorts of the Canadian Rockies.
The Rail Jam hits Fernie Saturday, January 10th and Kimberley on Saturday, January 17th.  Registration is from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on the day of the event with a $15 fee.  In Fernie you can find the registration in the Fernie Daylodge (main floor) and at the Stemwinder Eatery in Kimberley.  For more information on this event, please call Jenn Dykstra at (403) 209-3321 Ex 4605 or e-mail jdykstra@skircr.com
