ICE HOTEL QUEBEC – CANADA 2007 – THE LEGENDARY CITY OF ATLANTIS, REINCARNATED IN ICE!
Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier, November, 2006
On January 5th, 2007, the Ice Hotel will open its doors for a 7th season. This magical hotel, made of 15 000 tons of snow and 500 tons of ice, will redesign its N'Ice Club to recreate the mythical city of Atlantis in ICE.
We chose this theme for the N’Ice Club because it will allow us to attain a new level of creativity in architecture and design” said Serge Péloquin, Artistic Director of the Ice Hotel since 2001. "This mythical world of dream, adventure and fantasy, will guide us in our realization of a unique version of this famous city, which will include the magical properties that light has on snow and ice”.

A LOOK BACK AT OUR 2006 SEASON
“The team at the Ice Hotel attained a new record of overnight guests during its 2006 season. It was indisputably our the best year ever with a 28% increase in reservations and a 10% increase in our occupancy rate in comparison to 2005″ asserts Jacques Desbois, CEO of the Ice Hotel. "If we maintain these trends, our 2007 season should attain even more impressive results. Already, they denote an increase of more than 35% in reservations compared with the same date last year."
2007 SEASON
The Ice Hotel will open its doors on January 5th until April 1st, 2007. Besides the N’Ice Club, several new features will be added this upcoming season such as a new suite with private spa and a children’s playground. And for customers who desire to render their stay even more memorable, they can treat themselves to a helicopter tour of Quebec City and its surroundings! The experience at the Ice Hotel will be all the more magical for visitors if they combine their visit with one of the activities given by our partners: Aventure Inukshuk (Dog sledding), Portneuf Aventure (Snowmobiling), Catshalac (Ice fishing) and Duchesnay (Cross-country skiing, Snow shoeing, Ice skating, etc.).
January 5th to April 1st, 2007, celebrate Ice Hotel’s seventh season.
It is an ephemeral and majestic place to rediscover yearly.
