Golden’s Wolves as TV Stars
The Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre will be featured on CBC’s The Dragons’ Den on Wednesday, November 25. This Canadian TV show invites entrepeneurs to Toronto to convince a panel of investors that they have a sound and profitable business idea. The Dragons slay some guests, but they best be careful with Shelley Black – she has Maya the wolf with her in the studio to back her up!
Northern Lights is a wolf education centre in Golden dedicated to teaching the truth about these mysterious, misunderstood and marvelous animals. It is also the only place in Canada that offers Walks With Wolves. Find more info at TourismGolden.com.

Canada’s First Nordic Race of the Season Ready to Go
The Dawn Mountain Challenge returns to kick off the winter season with two unique Nordic ski race events on November 28th & 29th. The Saturday Night Sprints will be hosted by the Golden Nordic Club under the lights in the spectator friendly Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Plaza, on a freshly groomed custom course, and complimented with live DJ and aprГЁs dinner for all the participants at the Day Lodge. On Sunday the Classic Time Trials with take place on the Dawn Mountain Nordic trails adjacent to Kicking Horse.
