Ontario’s Lake Country Launches New Passport Contest for Fall 2009
Ontario’s Lake Country, ON: Ontario’s Lake Country will launch a new marketing program entitled The Cottages at Port Stanton Passport to Fun Contest, on Tuesday September 8th, 2009. The Cottages at Port Stanton Passport to Fun Contest program offers six distinctive fall getaways packed full of exciting places, festivals and events that can be experienced this fall in Ontario’s Lake Country.
Visitors to the region can carry along a contest passport and obtain stamps as they enjoy the diverse offerings in the region. One lucky participant in the contest will win, their dream, Five Weeks of Cottage Living in 2010, in a luxury three-bedroom Cottage at The Cottages at Port Stanton on beautiful Sparrow Lake. The prize also includes a wonderful gourmet evening for six with the Executive Chef from Echo’s Dining Lounge at Bayview Wildwood Resort.
From enjoying the sounds of rich jazz and sensuous blues at the Orillia Jazz and Blues Festival, to savouring tantalizing tastes at The Flavours of Ontario’s Lake Country, there is a diverse selection of distinctive experiences in Ontario’s Lake Country this fall.
Families can visit Fall Fairs and enjoy a visit to a Simcoe County Farm Fresh location. Adventure seekers can take in mountain biking, tree top trekking and zip lining. For other interesting getaway ideas, the region offers great shopping, the Thanksgiving POWWOW, the Images Thanksgiving Studio Tour and a wonderful Jazz & Blues Festival in Orillia. All are part of the fun-filled getaways offered in The Cottages at Port Stanton Passport to Fun Contest.
Contestants must have one accommodation stamp on their passport, plus their receipt to be eligible to enter the contest. Events, festivals, studio tours, stores and arts and culture locations are participating contest partners. The more stamps obtained the greater the chances of winning. Passports are available at participating contest partners located throughout Ontario’s Lake Country or by downloading a passport from the website at www.ontarioslakecountry.com/passport. The contest runs from September 8 to November 30, 2009.
