The Canadian Museum of Civilization is home to a thousand years of Canadian history, the Canadian Children's Museum and the Canadian Postal Museum. Starting May 11, 2007, the museum will display Treasures from China (extra fee applies for this exhibit), a showcase of some of the finest artifacts of human civilization, illuminating the rich history and achievements of the Chinese people. Some of the artifacts have never before left China and are coming to the Museum of Civilization exclusively.

At the Canadian War Museum, visitors can take in the very topical exhibit Afghanistan:  A Glimpse of War.  This groundbreaking exhibit presents Canada's participation in the war in Afghanistan. Discover personal stories drawn from the chaos of battle and the struggle for peace. As of May 13, catch War Brides: Portraits of an Era and discover the lasting legacy of more than 44,000 women who started a life in post-war Canada.
