Meet Canada’s Olympians on Friday February 26th at the vancouver Aquarium
Vancouver, BC – This weekend is Athlete Appreciation Weekend at the Vancouver Aquarium! We’re kicking off this Olympic-style celebration with an invitation for the public to meet three RBC Olympians:
Sylvia Kerfoot – Freestyle Skier; 2008 World Cup medalist; Hometown: Vancouver, BC
Jonathan Redman – Snowboarder; 2014 Winter Olympics; Hometown: Robson Valley, BC
Dominique Vallee – Freestyle Snowboarder; 2006 Olympian; Hometown: Montreal, QC
Join us from 11am – 1pm on Friday, February 26 for this amazing opportunity to support some of our Canada’s top winter athletes. The athletes will be here to meet the public, greet fans, take photos and sign autographs.
The Vancouver Aquarium is offering the following during the Games:
Athlete Appreciation Weekend – Thursday, February 25 to Sunday, February 28
Open daily from 8am through the Games
Olympic athletes receive free admission upon presentation of accreditation
Visitors receive 50% off admission before 9am through Sunday, February 28
Visitors also have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see an Olympic Torch up close and personal and a life-size Inukshuk made entirely of cans of Ocean Wise recommended sustainable seafood.
The Vancouver Aquarium congratulates all of Canada’s Olympic athletes and is proud of their incredible accomplishments during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
