February 3 – Powell River Torch Celebration
• From 3 to 6 pm local artists will exhibit and perform on stage at the Powell River Recreation Complex
• Official evening Torch Celebration – 6 to 8 pm – The Torch arrives via BC Ferries at Westview Terminal, and will make its way to the celebration site. The evening will be capped off with a huge fireworks display.

February 4 – Sechelt Community Torch Celebration – Hosted by Bill Good, CTV News Anchor
• Sechelt Seaside Centre & Spirit Square Park – Sechelt is the site of the Official Community Celebration. The event will be hosted by local resident Bill Good, CTV BC News Anchor/CKNW Radio Host. The Torch will be welcomed by the Shishalh First Nation and local musicians and entertainers will perform.

February 7 – Dakota Ridge Recreation Area – Snowfest
• The 3rd annual Dakota Ridge Snowfest is a fun family event that includes bonfires, a snow sculpture contest, snowshoe races, crazy carpet luge run, and more. www.scrd.ca

February 14 – Valentine’s Day
