Rise & Shine with BridgeClimb in Sydney, Australia

Morning has broken on the Sydney Harbour Bridge with the announcement by BridgeClimb of a limited season of exclusive ?Dawn Climbs?, commencing on December 26th. Welcome in the new day from the summit of Sydney?s ?Coathanger? and witness the city and the Harbour awake below you. Available to a maximum of 48 people per day, Climbers will experience the thrill of setting out along the catwalks in the darkness of night and then seeing the dawning of a new day as they ascend the eastern arch.

BridgeClimb formally introduced Dawn Climbs last year for a window of just 10 days over the New Year period. The inaugural season of Dawn Climbs was an overwhelming success and this year the exclusive Climbs are sure to be on top of Climbers wish lists, so be sure to book early.

Bridgeclimb recently took top honours in the Major Tourist Attraction category of the New South Wales Tourism Awards for Business Excellence, announced at an awards ceremony attended by special guests including the Hon. Sandra Nori.

This is the first time that BridgeClimb has been awarded best Major Tourist Attraction in NSW, and follows the company’s recent success at the 2004 Premier NSW Export awards in which BridgeClimb won the Tourism Exporter of the Year category. Other finalists in this category were Disney’s The Lion King and Featherdale Wildlife Park.

Since commencing operations in 1998, BridgeClimb has seen extraordinary growth in both domestic and international visitors and has generated extensive media coverage by hosting over 7000 international and domestic media visitors and has generated extensive media coverage, reaching more than three billion people worldwide. BridgeClimb is now regarded as the must-do activity in Sydney with more than 1,300,000 people having experienced the “climb of their life.”

Climbers at dawn will be the first on the Bridge for the day, experiencing the magical colours of sunrise and the breathtaking stillness of the Harbour below. At no other time of day does the Harbour glisten and shine quite like it does at dawn. The sense of peace and the sheer beauty of the experience is something that Climbers will remember for the rest of their lives.
