Australia To Host World Youth & Student Travel Conference

Australia has been chosen to host WYSTC 2006, WYSTC Director Susan Goldstein said today. The conference, which is to be held in Melbourne from 7 to 13 October 2006 and brings together some 400 organisations from 80 countries worldwide, is the premier international annual event for the youth and student travel industry.

The conference is a joint effort of FIYTO – the Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations and ISTC – the International Student Travel Confederation. The two organisations pioneered the youth and student travel movement over 50 years ago and continue to work together to build and support the special identity of youth and student travel.

The conference includes pre-booked business appointments; industry-focused seminars; networking events and association meetings.
