Flights to Mexico Updates
New Routes/Flights
As winter approaches and in anticipation of the increased demand for warmer climates by vacationers, many airlines are increasing their flights to Mexico and/or expanding their routes to include beach resort destinations.
Aviacsa Airlines (http://www.aviacsa.com.mx) is now offering direct, non-stop flights between Miami and Monterrey, with connecting flights to Mexico City, Guadalajara and other destinations throughout Mexico.
Continental Airlines (http://www.continental.com) has recently introduced seasonal non-stop service between Houston and Manzanillo.
Frontier Airlines (http://www.frontierairlines.com) will begin service to Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo in January. Additional flights to Mexico include three weekly non-stop flights between Denver and Puerto Vallarta, three weekly flights to Los Cabos and three weekly flights to Mazatlán.
United Airlines (http://www.united.com) has announced that it will launch exclusive, Saturday-only service to Cancun from its east-coast hub at Washington Dulles International Airport in February 2004, pending government approval. This move will expand United’s Latin American service from its Washington, D.C., hub, which currently includes daily flights to Mexico City.
Air Canada (http://www.aircanada.ca) has also increased the frequency of its flights between Mexico and Canada to 45 weekly flights.
