With families gearing up for a summer break and looking at exotic locations abroad, Singapore Airlines Wednesday announced its ‘Sweet Deal’ fares to woo passengers flying from Delhi to Southeast Asia.

“Singapore Airlines would like to celebrate 20 years of its
operations in Delhi with its travellers by offering them the
Singapore Airlines experience at never-before prices,” said Manjit
Grewal, northern India manager the airline.

For the month of May, the return economy class ticket to Singapore
from Delhi will be made available for about $200 (Rs.8,888). This
fare is over 60 percent lower than the existing economy tariff
between Delhi and Singapore.

The airline is also offering return economy class airfare to Kuala
Lumpur or Penang in Malaysia at a special price of about $245
(Rs.10,888). The fare includes a stopover in Singapore in both
directions.

However, the fares are not inclusive of tax surcharges and the
tickets should be booked by May 6 – either through travel agents or
on the airline’s website – for one to avail oneself of the offer.
