Qatar Airways Participates in Moscow Exhibition
Qatar Airways recently participated in the 11th Moscow International Travel & Tourism Show, with a new look stand. A delegation of senior Qatar Airways officials, led by Regional Manager for the Arabian Peninsula, Iran and CIS Mr. Ali Al Rais, travelled to Moscow for the event. Mr. Al Rais said: “The Moscow International Travel and Tourism Show is the largest and the most important event of the kind for the Eastern European market. “Following the successful participation in the Travel and Tourism Mart in Moscow last October, this event built on our existing relationship with the Russian travel market.
“Having had a very positive response since the inauguration of our service to Moscow in August last year, we are keen to further promote both, our services and Qatar as a destination to the Russian people.
“Moscow, being generally accepted as the heart of Russia, is an important destination for us.
“With ever-growing trade relations between Russia and Qatar, Qatar Airways offers a convenient and comfortable connection for business travellers between the Gulf and Russia.
“The Russian and Eastern European region is an important, and still largely untapped market, that is open to new ideas, destinations and travel services.
“The Russian people are becoming great travellers and we are keen to use the opportunity of the Moscow International Travel and Tourism Show to raise awareness of Qatar Airways with both the travel industry delegates and the independent travellers visiting the exhibition, ” Mr. Al Rais said.
