American Airlines Cargo Division Announces Increase In Fuel Surcharge

American Airlines Cargo division announced today an increase in its fuel surcharge to $0.20/kg for most U.S. origin international shipments and $0.08/lb for U.S. domestic shipments, effective May 12, 2004. The fuel surcharge will also be adjusted, in local currency, for most non-U.S. origin shipments, unless the surcharge is not allowed for regulatory reasons.

Ryanair accused of misleading customers
